When using a universal remote with a Samsung Frame TV in combination with an obstruction of the infrared eye, you will need an infrared repeater to pass the signal into the TV.

The SRS-2 also does not require having a power cord up near the TV screen like with the IR-3 device. The SRS-2 device plugs directly into the One Connect box.
