Imagine walking through an art museum — the Art Institute of Chicago, the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, or even the Salvador Dali Museum — and every few feet is a new painting, a new masterpiece. Each painting isn't just hanging there naked, just a canvas on a wall. They're all surrounded by beautiful artistic frames that complement and enhance the power and drama of the art.

A Frida Kahlo image portrayed on someone's Samsung Frame TV at home, surrounded by one of our artistic frames. It looks like a museum-quality piece hanging in their living room.As you look at each painting, you realize that the frame isn't just a border. It's not just a piece of lumber or plastic that surrounds and protects the painting. It's an amplifier, and it's part of the art itself. It draws your eye to the beauty contained within its borders and makes everything seem brighter, enchanting, and more vivid.

This even applies to your living room and the brightest, most vivid window in the place: your TV.

Your Samsung Frame TV is not just a window to entertainment and information. It's a portal to an entire world of artistic expression. You didn't get a Frame TV just so you could show copies of your art on your television. You wanted to display breathtaking landscapes, mesmerizing portraits, and iconic masterpieces and make them look like you have that particular painting in your home.

But without a suitable frame, that iconic art looks just like, well, a photo on your TV.

You need an artistic frame to help the art on your Frame TV look like actual art. Here's why:

1. Artistic Frames Unveil the Story.

Every piece of art hanging in a museum or gallery tells a story within its brushstrokes or pixels. The right frame becomes a piece of that story as if the artist created the frame just to make sure you noticed what was inside.

Imagine Monet's water lilies housed in a delicate, light wood frame that echoes his Impressionist style. The frame captures the essence of the sunlight dancing on the water.

Or picture a powerful abstract piece bordered by a bold, contemporary frame that struggles to contain the energy within.

Now, imagine Monet's water lilies surrounded by a thin chrome frame or the abstract painting contained within a gilded decorative frame. Rather clashing, isn't it?

The perfect artistic frame becomes a partner to the painting and draws you deeper into the artwork's world.

2. Artistic Frames Create Harmony

Imagine having a piece of abstract contemporary art hanging right next to a classic Renaissance portrait on the same wall. Without the right artistic frames, the visual class can be jarring.

But by carefully choosing the frames, you can seamlessly bridge the gap and create a cohesive feeling between the two.

A rustic, ornate frame for the portrait connects it to its modern surroundings. And a minimalist frame on the contemporary piece complements our Renaissance portrait without overpowering it.

The right frames create harmony between all your artwork, allowing you to curate a cohesive collection in your living room, transforming it into your own personal gallery.

3. Frames Attract Attention

Can you even imagine a classic painting without a frame? It wouldn't even look real. The canvas might be an amazing portrait, historic in nature, worthy of its own exhibit. But without a frame, you might otherwise walk past it with a second glance. That's because it lacks the depth and definition we associate with great art.

It's the same with your Frame TV. Samsung designed these to showcase some of the world's greatest art in your own home. A beautiful artistic frame can transform your plain TV into a captivating focal point within your room. It becomes less of a digital rectangle and more like a treasured piece of art that invites you to lose yourself in the colors and emotions on display.

Take, for example, the famous painting of Washington Crossing the Delaware by the German-American artist Emanuel Leutze. It's a massive painting, 21 feet wide by 12 feet high, and the one we all know hangs in the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City as the centerpiece of the American Wing.

(Leutze's original was part of the collection at the Kunsthalle in Bremen, Germany, but was destroyed in 1942 during World War II. Leutze painted two more versions, one of which hangs in The Met. The other, a smaller version, was on display at the Minnesota Marine Art Museum in Winona, Minnesota until it sold at auction in 2022 to an anonymous buyer.)

The original frame for the piece in the Met was lost, although the original painting was unharmed. For the longest time, a comically small three-inch frame encased this 21-foot piece of art. Hardly a fitting frame for such a distinctive and important piece of art.

So the Met found an old black-and-white photograph of the painting with the original frame taken at the World's Fair and commissioned a brand-new frame with noted frame maker Eli Wilner . Eli has framed over 10,000 paintings, including 28 for the White House.

From the photograph, Eli recreated the frame to showcase this iconic painting. I had the privilege of being at the debut party in Eli's warehouse in Long Island and seeing the frame before it was installed. They were still putting the gold leaf on it, but he had a private cocktail party one night so people could see this 3,000-pound frame before it was shown to the general public.

When you think about how important Washington Crossing the Delaware is to America, it's only fitting that one of the world's greatest frame makers designed a 1.5-ton frame to showcase it in the American Wing of one of the world's greatest museums.

4. Frames Honor the Artist

Just like museums respect and honor artworks by showcasing them in carefully chosen frames, adding an artistic frame to your own Frame TV shows your appreciation for your chosen artists and their creations.

It's a subtle way of acknowledging the time and talent they poured into the artwork you're showing in your own home. Whether it's a renowned masterpiece or a personal favorite you found in the online store, your artistic frame becomes a silent tribute to the artist's journey.

5. The Right Frame Reflects YOU

Your choice of frame reveals your unique taste and personality. Do you prefer the classic elegance of an ornate, gold-leaf frame? Or are you into the sleek design of modern minimalism? Do you want bold accents or understated sophistication?
