Welp I finally figured out how to change the art on our Frame TV from the Parks & Rec centaur mural Matt put on it (IYKYK) to something more in line with the seaside slumber vibes. So happy with the decotvframes we opted for to complete the look. Wow!! Our decotvframes came in so quickly!!! I cannot tell you how amazing this looks in person. The quality of the frame exceeded our expectations. It looks like a real picture and goes with our other professional frames. Not only does it look great, our dogs were super excited about the unboxing and couldn’t help by be photographed 🤩.

THE LIVING ROOM is one of the easiest rooms in our home to capture. Light spills into the dark painted room for the majority of the day, where it is absorbed by the flatness of the walls. The color is elusive, continuously shifting from blue to green, only to be broken by the wood mantle and windows. The space we undoubtedly spend the majority of our time.

One of the primary features of this room are the white curtains. They provide contrast, a break from the bold, and draw your eyes up to the brass rods and crown. Most recently we updated our curtain panels to the Sunbrella Taylor Curtain from luluandgeorgia . These curtains are 3 in 1 allowing for rod pocket, back tab, or clip rings hanging and while we initially planned to maintain the brass clip rings - we decided to try something new. We used panels to bookend the bay and used the center panels to bridge the gap giving the illusion of a continuous rod. Now we have a nice clean line and love the update.

If we have learned anything during our time in this home it is that incremental changes or improvements sometimes happen without planning. Inspiration can come from anywhere and a single update, which only you may notice, can make a world of difference. #SunbrellaPartner #SunbrellaWindow

A Thursday still 📸. One of the best decisions we made for this formal room off of our kitchen, was the adding the samsung frame tv with decotvframes above the fireplace. While we were limited in tv and frame size because of the surrounding millwork (that we did not want to take down) one year after this purchase and we still love it! It’s perfect for a pretty still view or to switch to tv mode while prepping in the kitchen!! The weather is getting cooler and I can’t wait to get the fireplace going!

My home finally feels like a home again! Moving from Kentucky to California has been quite a journey. Behold my living room. The velvet drapes I brought from my Kentucky house, the TV is a samsungus Frame TV and the frame around it is made by decotvframes. The frame is magnetic and pops right on. The wire for the tv is hidden behind a cord cover we painted to match the wall (it’s behind those vintage gold birds on the mantle). If you guys are interested, I can share some more interior photos of the house—it’s been fun setting up a California bungalow and interesting to see how our previous home style translates. Moving from a shotgun style house with 4 floors to a single story bungalow has involved a lot of purging of items and careful decisions about storage and space utilization. #decotvframes
